I have used CARFAX on several occasions. On one of these occasions I purchased a 2000 Mazda B3000 truck from a used car dealer about 1 hour from my home. The vehicle looked great online, but before I made the trip I wanted to be sure the ve
hicle checked out properly. The CARFAX was complete and clear for this vehicle, so I made the trip and was able to make the purchase.Most recently my nephew was looking at a used Pontiac Grand-Am from a private seller. We ran the CARFAX and reviewed the history and were able to see a minor accident and verified recent ownership and service. I then contacted the service center to ask more information about the car and, once satisfied, used the CARFAX to help with the price negotiation.
