I have run CARFAX Reports on all of my vehicles. My mistake is that I always run them after I purchase the vehicle. This was the case with the 2010 Dodge Ram I purchased that had an open recall. I had no knowledge of the recall at all until I ran the CARFAX Report. There was a link in the report that made it easy to print off the recall, and show it to the dealer. The recall was about a minor issue, and the dealer quickly took care of it. I have had no problems with the truck.
