I was in the market for a minivan for almost 6 months. I located multiple minivans through dealers and private parties. The prices were right and appeared to be deals, but I ran a CARFAX on each vehicle and was let down multiple times. All of them were either lemons or had been in accidents. In the end I decided to buy a certified vehicle with a clean CARFAX.
