I was looking for an affordable but comfortable luxury car. I found a 2005 Mercedes Benz S-Class for a good price. I ran the CARFAX and found that it had been in an accident 3 years ago. It drove well and seemed like it was repaired correctly, but I used it as a bargaining tool to bring down the price by $2K. The CARFAX more than paid for itself!
